Heidelberg software expert enhances dialog with retail industry

The Compex Systemhaus GmbH is a new associate member of the Cologne EHI Retail Institute. The EHI Retail Institute is a research and educational institute for the retail industry and its partners. The network comprises some 500 members throughout Europe, which regularly contribute their know-how to research projects.

Since its foundation in 1985, Compex established itself on the national as well as on the international market with its standard software solution Compex Commerce. Compex Commerce comprises some 400 predefined reference business processes in the standard reference model, covering all business processes of a typical retail and wholesale company or an e-commerce company: From purchase, distribution, merchandise management, and logistics to financial accounting, controlling, and Business Intelligence. "With the membership we do not only intend to play an active part in the EHI Retail Institute, but we would also like to share more than 25 years of experience with the other members", says Patricius Krause, Compex Marketing Director.
